this cute guy smoking a cigarette said hi to me when i passed by him in town today, but since i don’t smoke i just kept walking. afterwards i felt bad so i bought some incense and took it back to where i passed him, hoping he was still there. he was and i sat next to him, told him why i was there and talked to him for an hour about nothing. his name was michael and i’m pretty sure he was 500% stoned and didn’t know where he was
this whole notion that guys who wear pink are suddenly feminine is so ridiculous. women aren’t portrayed as manly if they wear blue??? it reminds me of this quote i once read by gwen sharp, “Femininity is depicted as weakness, the sapping of strength, yet masculinity is so fragile that apparently even the slightest brush with the feminine destroys it.”
the ironic part is pink use to be a boy color and blue use to be a girl color
